The application process for Jubilee’s volunteer program consists of an extended conversation between an applicant and Jubilee’s volunteer program coordinator. As part of that conversation we will ask you to write a personal narrative several pages in length. Before applying, please read through the content of this website to learn about the life and work of Jubilee. You may also find it helpful to read some recent newsletters from our archive.
There is no fixed deadline for volunteer program applications; we accept applicants on a rolling basis while there are spaces available. The volunteer spaces are generally filled up by one or two months before the start of the term, so it is best to apply several months ahead. Housing for families is often limited, so families may wish to apply as much as a year in advance.
