Thanks to the Teachers

The new school year has just begun here in Georgia. Over the summer, two teachers from local school systems volunteered their time teaching some of the kids here at Jubilee, so that they could keep progressing in their English and academic skills. Now these kids, along with other children in the community, are starting out a new school year. We’re thankful for all the attention and care that teachers offer to their students, especially to those students who are recovering from traumatic experiences, learning English, and adapting to U.S. culture.

We are also excited to be welcoming a new partner, Joshua, at Jubilee this month. Joshua came as a volunteer a little over two years ago, spent a year as a volunteer and then a year as a novice, and is now making the commitments of a resident partner in the community. It is a great joy to see how God brings us together in the work of his kingdom.
